Who we are
For over 45 years now, we have been proud to be a fully family-owned business. Started in the late 70s, George Valcourt went out on his own to provide his customers the best possible service and expert installation. Fast forward through the decades, and the company is owned and operated by his son, Jeff, who was George’s right-hand man since graduating high school. And that tradition is continuing into the third generation as Jeff’s son Nick has been working for the company since he was in high school and is going full-time in the spring of 2026 after he graduates from the University of New Hampshire. We truly pride ourselves on standing the test of time and being able to maintain long-term relationships with our customers.
With the ever-changing landscape of the electrical industry, we have made sure to stay with the times to be able to provide the most state-of-the-art technology and solutions while maintaining an old-school work ethic that has been lost in the trades. When you hire Valcourt Electric for a job, you get Jeff on most every job to ensure that those standards are met, and when he cannot make it, Nick is there to do the same. When you hire us, you get us, and that is the way we have always been and will continue to be. Jeff prides himself on being out in the field and doing the work every day, truly for the love of the job. That love of the work is shown in everything we do and is instilled into everyone who works here at Valcourt Electric; whether they carry the name or not, they are all family.
